New Year's in Seoul!!

A dark picture of Itaewon. This is the part of Seoul where we went for New Year's. Lots of people and cabs! I just took pictures as we walked to our destination.

This is called "hooker hill"!!!! *L* Everyone wanted to show me where the hookers are everywhere in the summer. They were all sleeping in their beds (we could SEE them sleeping through the windows) it was too cold! The hill was soooo steep...try walkin down it in heels!

These were the crazy steps going up to hooker hill! I was outta breath by the time we got to the top.....It was a fun walk though!

It was sure weird not being in Winnipeg this year for New Year's....Especially not being with family and friends.
I did have an amazing night though with lots of memories and a cab ride home with a REALLY bad cab driver who was falling asleep at the wheel! Too funny. We kept him awake though to make it home safely *L*
I went to a bar called Gecko's. It reminded me of home and is located in an area of Seoul that is full of foreigners. Everyone spoke english (almost) and I met a lot of english teachers from all over South Korea. It made for an interesting night, that's for sure!
