Coex Aquarium, Hooters, and my new baby fish!

On saturday we went to Coex Mall in Seoul and went straight for the aquarium!! Coex is a huge mall with many things in it. All in all, it was pretty fun! Here's the pics!

These two seahorses were "getting it on!!" well, until I whipped out my camera, then they got a little shy *L*

So, do you think the fish recognized me as their long lost sister? Okay, I'll work on my fish face,k?

This guy was sooo cute!! He was sleeping with his beak in his wings, but opened his eyes when I took a pic of him...Awwww.
Okay, I'm not being rediculous here, just imitating the scuba chick in the phone booth! hehe look carefully...

So, they had this fish "home" where they turned things from a house into a fish home. Pretty cool idea!

Ini the washing machine...

In the refrigerator!! If you could only see carefully, everything in this is fake, well except the fish in the middle...and in the drawr beneath the fish, there were fake dead frozen ones! It looked sooo funny.

There were tomato frogs and I thought their cage was pretty with the flowers in it.

So, this guy takes second place for my fave animal....this is a Pacman frog, isn't he a cutie?!

Told you that was his name! I wasn't lying *L*

Just follow your nose Tucan Sam!! MMmmmm, I miss Froot Loops....

A swarm or should I say school of beautiful fishies...

These poor fish!! HAHA Look at the jelly frows they have on their poor heads...Awwww, I felt sorry for them, so I took a picture.

So, this turtle really has two heads...just as I took the picture below, one head popped into the shell! What a little A-hole!

See?! Only one head...

These are just some monster fish! They kept getting bigger and bigger as the day went on!

Now, this is a tribute to my first fish that died....when I bought him, I thought the guy told me it was a "Crown Roach" fish...lemm tell you, we got a good laugh when I saw this!!! RIP little guy...

Just a view from a part of the aquarium...it had a really nice set up!

Look at me...I'm a leopard print stingray!! Now, how weird is that?

A look at all the different species tat were in this area...

OKAY, now he's my #1 favorite animal of the day!! Isn't he SWEET?!! AWWWW!! It's a porcupine fish (can you see the porcupine thingys on his head?), and man did he like pictures being taken of him. He wouldn't move from the glass...he was an all-star who won first place in my heart!
Okay, so I had to take another one of him...look at that smile!!

Beautiful fish of the Atlantic Ocan...sorry about the unbeautiful me in the pic!! Remember, I was super sick and sweating up a storm in my sweater...I had to purpously buy a t-shirt after to change!

I wanted to pop this kid's balloon...some scuba divers in the shark tank...

Look at me!! AAAHHHHH!!! Me and my ice cream are being eaten by a shark! Okay, so the little Korean girl on the left gives it away that it's not real...damn.

Ooohhhh, look at me and my ugly teeth...

Perfect timing, or what?! This is in the tunnel where you step on a conveyor belt and the floor moves for you...exactly what my body needed after walking forever and not feeling good...

Here's the tunnel....Well, I was actually trying to get a picture of this chicks outfit in the front...this leopard pring dress was horrid, and I wish u could see her shoes! *L* They were this pearly pink with some sort of seashells on them...she took first place for most horrid outfit that day!! hehe I'm bad...

OOhhhhh, you thought my brother in the other picture had bad teeth...well think again!! hehe

Just a picture at the subway station...they never turn out how I want them to though...You are literally packed in there like sardines and then everyone rushes out...Good thing I couldn't smell with my cold! Sebastien said it smelt like a farm in there....we felt like hurded cattle *L*

Notice anything wrong with this picture? *L* We were walking looking for a place for dinner and HAD to stop and take a picture of this one...

And this is where we ended up for dinner!! Hooters in SEOUL!! Before we got in, we were wondering how there could EVEV be a hooters in Korea...Well, these girls sure were rambuxious and about every 10 mins they'd put on a show and turn up the music....here they are dancing to the bunny hop!! hehehe It was great...

So, I woke up this morning to see these little "things" floating around in my fish tank...needless to say, my fat fish gave BIRTH!! AHHHHH!!! I seperated them into a homemade tank (well, it's a waterbottle with the top cut off) until she gave birth to about 15 of them...Crazy!
Now, I'm not too sure what to do with them, but I put them into another bowl and put the mommy back into the regular tank....it seems like she's getting eaten alive by the other two fish...poor girl. Any advice from anyone??

So, the aquarium was fun, Hooters was more fun, and my baby fish were a surprise when I woke up this morning!!
All in all, it was a good, yet relaxing weekend, even though I'm still feeling like poop. Take care and enjoy the pictures!!

Hi Kari, you should go on line and ask about your fish and giving birth, I found lots about goldfish, what kind of fish do you have? Plug it in to Google and it will help in determining what will eat what and what will kill what, better hurry though or you won't have anyone left!!!! The aquariums look awesome, you must of had a wonderful time! Hooters, that's funny. Keep the pics coming we love them!! L.O.V.E. Mom XOXOXOX

You know the ducky that was sleeping until you so rudely awakened him? :-P ...do you know what kind of duck it is? It kinda looks like a wood duck! Do they have those there?

Hey Kari, long time no type....

Anyway, looks like your adventure continues to unfold, keeping us land-locked prairie dwellers riveted to your weekly blogging. Talk about living your life in a fish bowl...

Here fishy fishy fishy, what would the Iron Chef do with all those fish? Probably gross us out by trying to mate an octopus with a goldfish, creating glishopus with a side of squid ice cream.

Make sure you don't play favourites with your new fish family. Treat them all the same, even the one with the twitch, he'll be ok, you'll see......

FLUSH HIM NOW!!!!

My friend has a fish that just gave birth too. It was funny to see the mother fish moving her offspring around the tank. She would swallow her son, swim to what I would assume was a safer place in the tank, and then spit…and out came little Rutiger all safe and sound. So you be careful moving your little guys from the water bottle to the fish tank, you wouldn’t want to be an unfit mother and eat your children.

Enough about the aquatic vertebrates…. (thank you Wikipedi)

I noticed your Hooters visit. Seeing as you are a teacher, and visited Hooters, I thought that this joke I came across fit nicely.

Warning – PG 14!!!

Teacher asked the class to use the word "fascinate" in a sentence.

Molly put up her hand and said, "My family went to my granddad's farm, and we all saw his sheep. It was fascinating."

The teacher said, "That was good, but I wanted you to use the word fascinate, not fascinating."

Sally raised her hand. She said, "My family went to see Rock City and I was fascinated."

The teacher said, "Well, that was good, but I wanted you to use the word fascinate."

Little Johnny raised his hand. The teacher hesitated because she had been burned by him before. She finally decided there was no way he could damage the word fascinate, so she called on him.

Johnny said, "My Aunt Gina has a sweater with ten buttons, but her tits are so big she can only fasten eight."

The teacher sat down and cried.

Don’t know how to follow that one up…….

Sorry to hear you have been under the weather. I hope that you are feeling better now. Things look like there going great for you otherwise. I understand that you have been working quite a bit and raking in all kinds of cash. Do you need an agent, financial planner, tax planner, or accountant? I freelance for cheap, ask your sister.

Things are ok here, spring is in the air, mixed with a lot of dust, but the trees are beginning to green up a little. It’s election time and the sea of orange seems to be spreading rapidly once again, at least in my area anyway. Kristin snaps at least once a day, so all seems right with the world.

Well, its 12:30am and the hockey game is finally over, so I should pack it in for the night. Take care, and keep on blogging…..

Dan

PS. You should have popped that kids balloon.
