I'm here!!! Alive and well!!

This is the street I walk every day to work. It's about a 10-15 minute walk and the buildings are fascinating to look at!

This street is called La Festa and is right near my place. This was my first night here and I was just amazed! There's music, bars, shopping......u name it here!

My first night again....out for traditional Korean food with my counsellor Angie. She has helped me sooo much! Don't ask what I'm eating.....u don't ask, just eat! *L* j/k They actually cook the food on the table (the big silver thing). U should see how good I am with chopsticks now!

This is Angie my counsellor. She's great. We are out eating Korean porridge!!! It was super good....mine was chicken and cheese with all the fixings around it. U put it in your bowl and add whatever u want. The more red stuff,the spicier it is!! Mmmmmm

This was my FIRST picture of Korea! My cab ride from the airport to my apartment. This is a toll station where u have to pat a fee. The cabbie thought I was nuts! *L*

First of all, I'm sorry to you all for not keeping in touch thus far. I have been havin troubles with internet access (wireless) and my shaw account also. So, if u have sent me something there, I haven't gotten it, sorry!

I've been having a wonderful time here learning Korean culture and meeting wonderful people. I don't have much time to write though.....got class right away!
Speaking of.....I had my first day and the kids are great! They're shy but funny and completely melt my heart!
