Just for Kristin....some pics during the day!

This is my brother's friend Chris. He's been in Ilsan for 4 years now and had lots of advice and stories for me! We are in Lake Park (what a beautiful view!). It is the biggest attraction in Ilsan where people come from Seoul to see. There are monuments, sculptures, walking/biking/rollerblading paths, activities for kids and more! It covers atleast 15kms (that I saw) and I walk around it all the time. I'm gonna burn off all that Canadian fat! hehehe

Sooo, I took this one for all the people at Kelsey's! Yes, it's an Outback Steakhouse! hehehe There's more western restaurants than you would think. I heard it's quite expensive to go eat there! Who would have thought *L*

This is one of my classes! I have two right now, I will have three starting in February.....this is my older bunch of kids and I had to get down on my knees and BEG them all for a picture! *L* I also had to bribe them with not letting them play a game if they didn't let me take a picture of them! I'm bad. My other class is younger and they will for SURE want me to take pics of them...stay tuned *L*

SEE!! I told you there was a lot of western restaurants. Well, this is actually it, and Outback is right across the street. This is my fave place to be and the ONLY place right now my computer will pick up wireless access (besides the school). Good 'ol caramel macchiatos....they remind me of home! And the staff speak english....bonus!

This is just a picture of the main street I walk every day to school. Does it look better in the daylight? Stay tuned and I will eventually have pictures up of the school and my staff that I takl about!

So, as Kristin requested, here's some pics from during the day. She is right when she said that all there is is blaring neon lights around! Everything is so bright and beautiful, and that's why there's so many night time pics! *L* They just don't show up as good on my expensive freakin camera!

I hope you all enjoy and please leave comments, I LOVE to read them! I will talk to you all soon, especially when I get my internet at home! Love and miss you all!!

Hey Kari!! This is Janelle and I just thought I would say that your blog site is really cool and you must be so excited and probably a bit overwhelmed in Seoul. OMGoodness you must be so tired when the day ends. (Do I sound like a dork saying omgoodness? because I just did that here, i've never done that anywhere else before, but because you are my cousin, you can have my experimental internet speech) Keep posting all your stuff because I'm running out of new sites to look at on the interweb and because I love you!!!
Hugs from me
Janelle
