The YES Banquet on Saturday night
So, before we could all sit down your school had to take a picture infront of the display. I wish I would have gotten our next picture that was taken! There were all of these props lying on the ground (wigs, hats, tiaras, etc) and we had to put them on and pose! *L* Too funny....
I wish I would have gotten better pictures of the outside. It was a Garand hotel! Like the one Macauly Culkin stays in in Home Alone! hehehe These were the revolving doors outside, WHICH I DID not go through as I was afraid of getting squished and hurt! (right Chris?) I had to get a pic though....
This is only half of the dining hall. The other half is behind me! It was really beautiful and we were obviously one of the first schools to go in as it is empty! There's ony one of the big screens that the movies and clips were played on also.
Well, what a GREAT was to ruin a beautiful picture Todd!! Geesh. Ignoring the class clown there, behind him is the Willy Wonka elevators that I LOVED! They were such a smooth ride up and they looked beautiful....another picture I just HAD to get!
Hello everyone!
So, I am trying my hardest to take lotsa pictures and post them as often as possible. Yes, I am still havin an amazing time out here ( I know it's only been like 2 weeks, but still!!).
This past weekend I went to a YES Youngdo (the company I work for) banquet with about 600 people (staff, teachers, and guests). It was neat, but boring at the same time. It was at a beautiful hotel with Willy Wonka elevators (you'll see the pic)!! We were in the "Crystal Ballroom" and got free dinner (a huge buffet table of food from cold salads to octopus legs and caviar!) We at until we dropped, then watched tonnes of clips made by staff at YES on three HUGE screens. And guess what....MY interview (from when I got straight off the plane) was shown! AHHHHH! It was pretty emberassing *L* But I'm over it!
They picked us up (n the YES bus! hehehe) and drove us home too. So, all we had to do was show up, eat, drink, and be merry! Easy enough.
It was a cool experience....
